Leftfoto Stabilizers F-CFX3 US Editorial Review
The LEFTFOTO FX3 / FX30 Half Camera Cage has garnered a mixed reception among users, with many praising its versatility and functionality while others express concerns regarding fit and quality control. Most users appreciate the cage's modular design and the multitude of mounting points for various accessories, making it a beneficial addition for those who enjoy customizing their rigs. It's compatible with both the Sony FX3 and FX30, and users typically find it easy to attach to tripods, which is a noteworthy convenience. The cage is acknowledged for being lightweight, adding minimal extra bulk to the user's setup. However, some customers encountered issues with quality assurance, as some received items that appeared used, with visible marks and missing screws. Another common problem was the tight fit of the cage on the camera body, making it difficult for some users to attach and detach. Concerns were also raised about the level of protection it offers, with critiques of the minimal padding that failed to adequately shield the camera body. Some users concluded that alternative brands, like SmallRig, may offer better options for those in need of a more protective solution. In summary, the LEFTFOTO FX3 / FX30 Half Camera Cage is a decent product that suits various shooting setups, but it is marred by quality control issues and an overly tight fit that may deter potential buyers. **
