- Do you wish you had the proper equipment for producing quality designs? Look no further than the 20 x 24 155 Count White Mesh Aluminum Frame by Screen Print Direct®. This 6 pack of frames is hand cut and welded to ensure long lasting durability. Pre-stretched screens here in the USA by Oscar the screen tensioning legend. We offer a variety of screen mesh counts, see below to find which fits you best! 40 Mesh Count - Lower mesh counts like 40 are used for glitter inks. These inks have particles that will not pass through the typical mesh sizes. So you need a lower mesh count with large holes in order for all the particles to pass through properly. Glitter inks have much larger particles so it would be recommended to use a 40 mesh count screen. 110 Mesh Count - 110 mesh count is good for prints with low detail such as large block text or simple art. It is used to put down heavier ink deposits. Heavier ink deposits are used specifically when printing with an under-base or getting a light color to pop on a dark garment. 137 Mesh Count - 137 white mesh is the golden mesh. 137 is the perfect mesh count for all your standard plastisol inks. It produces a nice layer of ink with good detail. Great for all-around printing and dark garments (allows you to lay down a little more ink to make your images pop). 155 Count - 155 white mesh is similar to 137 mesh count but will hold a bit more detail for finer prints. This mesh allows less ink to pass through therefore producing a softer feel. 155 mesh count white is great for all-around printing and the go-to mesh count for most print jobs. 230 Count - 230 Yellow mesh is used for finer detailed images and thinner inks. These mesh sizes can hold larger half tone dots and are recommended for half tone printing but are not recommended for four color process prints. Also if you would like a softer feel to the ink on your shirts you can print through these higher mesh counts which will let less ink through the screen giving you a much softer feel on the shirt.
