Haltec Tire Repair Tools TC-70 Editorial Review
The Tubeless Radial Truck Tire Bead Seater is designed for use with large truck tires, specifically 22.5 to 24.5 inch rims. It may also work on other sizes, such as 20 inch rims, but it is recommended to use a bead seater specifically designed for the size of the wheel being used. The tube diameter is approximately 3/4 inch. Customer reviews of this product are mixed. Some customers found that the bead seater worked well and helped ease the mounting of large tires. However, others had issues with the product. One customer mentioned that no matter what tire lube they used, it would get trapped between the tire and wheel instead of being expelled as it should. This caused the tire to be wider at the bead after deflation. Another customer stated that the product did not work at all and deemed it "junk". Overall, while some customers had success with using the Tubeless Radial Truck Tire Bead Seater, there were also negative experiences reported. It may be worth Considering other options, such as the more expensive ring type bead seaters, for guaranteed results.
