MXL Multipurpose AC-44 USB Editorial Review
MXL AC-44 USB Boundary Conferencing Microphone - Black is designed for efficient audio capture during conference calls with its 180-degree wide cardioid polar pattern and simple USB connectivity, allowing for quick plug-and-play usage with no additional drivers needed. Users have found it particularly useful in office settings, picking up sound from multiple participants effectively. However, some concerns arise regarding sound quality where the absence of gain control has led to lower audio levels compared to more premium microphones like the Blue Yeti. The microphone's compact design is praised for portability, making it a solid choice for video conferencing on-the-go, though it may not meet professional audio demands for more advanced users.
