Question:
Listed as 180W output but will not power my 168W air compressor, why? defective?
Answer: Because of the starting load of the compressor. A motor has what's called end rush when start up and has a heavy load when starting. you need about a 250 to 300w power supply. -
Question:
Will it work with hotor car vaccum that runs on 8.8 amps, 12 volts and 106 watts? same q. for compressor that needs 15 amps and around 12 volts?
Answer: If it has an electric motor, the amperage drawn on startup is going to be greater than what is listed on the appliance. Anything listed close to 10a with an electric motor probably will not work and you’ll probably blow the fuse trying to run anything listed at over 10a. How would it be possible for a 15a compressor to run off a power source capable of 10a? What 12v appliance runs on 15a? That would easily kill a car battery in few hours. -

Will it power an automotive winch?
Answer: How many Amps does it pull? Check that against what Amps the converter will supply. -

Can you plug in 12 volt lights and a 12 volt flasher?
Answer: Sure. I use it for my air compressor unit that has a light and flasher as part of it. You need to limit to the 120 Watts. -

Answer: As far as I know, it should work just fine. I use it for my inflator. -

Answer: It completely depends on your 'heated seat cushion' specifications. According to the description it will handle up to 102 Watts. So if your cushion are below that it will work. If above that it will not. -
