KYB Shocks Editorial Review
**** The KYB 344378 Excel-G Gas Shock has garnered mixed reviews from its users, presenting a blend of strengths and limitations that Prospective buyers should Consider. Overall, many customers appreciate the performance improvements these shocks provide, particularly when it comes to the restoration of the factory ride quality. Users noted that the shocks offer a firmer ride, enhancing stability and control, especially on rough terrain at moderate speeds. This makes them a strong choice for those using their vehicles for regular transportation or for handling light to moderate loads. Ease of installation is highlighted positively, with several reviews commenting on how well these shocks fit a variety of vehicle models, such as the 2004 Chevy Astro and 2003 Dodge Dakota. Customers express satisfaction with the overall handling and smooth ride quality these shocks deliver, and several indicate they would purchase them again based on their performance. However, there are also notable criticisms. Some users have compared them unfavorably against other brands, such as Sensen, citing perceived deficiencies in quality and robustness. There is concern about the durability of the product, with a report of leakage after three months of use. Furthermore, while some users feel they deliver adequate performance for the price, others suggest that opting for a higher-priced variant, like the Gas-Adjust, may yield better results. In summary, while the KYB 344378 Excel-G Gas Shock generally delivers improved ride quality and ease of installation at an attractive price, potential buyers should weigh the Pros and Cons against their specific needs, especially if durability and heavy-duty capability are priorities. **
