- For audio professionals and enthusiasts seeking precision and clarity in a compact package, the A4V Vertical 4 130W Powered Active 2-Way Studio Monitor is an exemplary choice. Engineered for intimate studio environments and close-range listening, this monitor delivers an impressively accurate and rich sound profile that belies its modest dimensions. The A4V is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, featuring a two-way design that integrates a 4-inch long-throw woofer constructed from innovative Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers - a hallmark of the esteemed A Series speakers. This is complemented by the acclaimed X-ART tweeter, renowned for its crisp and expansive high-frequency response.Equipped with onboard DSP-based tuning, the A4V offers users the flexibility to fine-tune audio output to match the unique acoustics of any space. The expansive frequency range of 52 Hz to 45 kHz ensures the monitor is versatile enough to handle a wide array of audio tasks, from podcast production to the intricate nuances of a string quartet. Its compatibility with immersive and 3D audio setups further underscores its adaptability to cutting-edge sound design.ADAM Audio's pioneering spirit is embodied in the A4V's advanced features. Users can delve into the monitor's technology, discovering the precision that ADAM Audio monitors are globally celebrated for. Remote control of the DSP functions is made effortless via ethernet with the A Control software, offering real-time adjustments from a distance. The monitor's rotatable High-frequency Propagation System (HPS) waveguide, fashioned from a novel glass fiber polymer compound, works synergistically with the X-ART tweeter to ensure a consistent and controlled sound dispersion. The bass reflex system, along with the meticulously designed cabinets, draw from ADAM Audio's rich legacy, particularly the revered AX Series. In collaboration with Sonarworks, ADAM Audio introduces an automated room correction solution that operates directly on the monitor's DSP, ensuring optimal sound in any environment. The A4V's hybrid amplification merges the best aspects of digital and analog audio technologies, offering unparalleled sound fidelity. The A4V's Multi-Layer Mineral Woofer (MLM) represents the pinnacle of material innovation and advanced design processes, resulting in a woofer capable of exceptional throw and precision. The monitor's Voicings feature provides users with pre-defined sound profiles, UNR for a more uncolored sound and Pure for a pristine audio experience. To accommodate various room characteristics, the A4V includes four bands of room adaptation equalization - Bass, Desk, Presence, and Treble - located on the rear panel. This allows for tailored sound adjustments to fit the specific acoustics of the listening space.Digital Signal Processing (DSP) harnesses the power of digital electronics to achieve a level of tuning precision that analog-only speakers cannot match, making the A4V a forward-thinking choice for audio professionals who demand the utmost in sound quality and adaptability.
