The installation process takes about an hour, with all necessary hardware and brackets included, and the guards are sturdy and as described. However, the product's packaging seems to have caused damage in some cases, as it was received already scuffed up or with bent flanges and a smashed center tube. One customer suggested changing one bolt design to make it easier to work with, but aside from that, no complaints have been reported about the product's performance. Unfortunately, this product won't fit a V-Strom 650, any ABS models, or any year other than 2002-2009 and 2012.
